Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA / BCaBA / BCBA-D) Job Description:
Blue Hearts ABA Services is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our Clinical Director and oversee a team of behavior technicians to provide Applied Behavior Analysis services for children on the autism spectrum and with other developmental disabilities. As a Behavior Analyst (BCBA, BCaBA, BCBA-D) you will provide family-centered ABA services to individuals with behavior challenges and skill deficits. Behavior Analyst are responsible for conducting assessments, developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans, data collection and analysis, as well as training and supervising caregivers and staff in home and community settings.
Behavior Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
· Conduct a variety of assessments to determine clients’ strengths and weaknesses
· Conduct initial intake evaluations
· Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
· Complete process to obtain and maintain insurance authorization, including navigating treatment plan denials
· Discharge and transfer cases according to BACB ethical standards
· Conducts risk assessments and identify the need for crisis plans
· Develop incident reports as needed
· Makes clinical recommendations based upon data and assessment
· Implement all principles of applied behavior analysis appropriately
· Create behavior intervention plans using a variety of strategies
· Support Behavior Therapists
· Review client records to ensure effective treatment
· Maintain HIPAA compliance with client Protected Health Information (PHI)
· Develop programs to increase socially significant behaviors using a variety of strategies
· Use a variety of data collection methods to assess effectiveness of treatment
· Provide direct service, as needed
· Conduct treatment integrity on Behavior Technicians
· Conducts effective parent training
· Maintain effective communication with co-workers, other providers, supervisors and supervisee’s
· Maintain BCBA/BCaBA certification
· Maintain LABA or other state licensure
· Obtain and maintain Safety Care Specialist status
Requirements and Qualifications
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred)
BCBA certification
Experience working with children, preferably those with autism or disabilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pass a background check
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
High energy and willingness to build a good rapport with clients, co-workers, and supervisees
